Metropolitan's founder and president has been a leader in the industry for more than forty years. Leaving his management position with a Fortune 500 company to start the firm in 1966, he found a need for professional expertise and recognition in the marketplace.

Competency and high ethical standards were paramount in his mind as he helped develop the National Certification Program to identify the most proficient and knowledgeable people throughout the industry. Later he co-authored the Pennsylvania Law that governs personnel services, and was named by the Secretary of Labor and Industry to chair the first private employment advisory council in the Commonwealth.

Mr. LaBoon has served as President of the Pennsylvania Association of Personnel Services and the Middle Atlantic Association of Temporary Services. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Regents and as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Employment Association.

He is listed in the current edition of Who's Who In America and specializes in organizational development and senior executive recruitment.
